A 2-month proven virtual programme aimed at new or recent entrants into the cybersecurity profession that:

- Are individuals from outside of the cybersecurity profession that are considering to convert to cybersecurity, risk management, audit or resilience roles but cannot find a route in.

Ethnos Cybersecurity Academy focuses on the skills you need. The programme is designed to improve your chances of future internships and jobs. The emphasis is as much on communication and teamwork as it is on building the core competencies required to succeed in cybersecurity. The program content and mentoring develops core competencies e.g., knowledge, skills, and abilities relating to the identification, detection, protection against, response to, and recovery, including how to build and maintain communications with your team which are required in a future cyber workforce. The assignments and labs of the virtual programme are designed to assess both core competencies and essential (soft/professional) skills. In addition, the best students will be given a CompTIA security+ exam voucher, and an opportunity to intern with Ethnos IT Solutions Limited.
Cybersecurity Skills
Acquire knowledge of cybersecurity threat landscapes, actors, and cybersecurity frameworks (such as ISO, PCI), used in the industry to identify and protect assets, detect and respond to/recover from cyber, risk and compliance.
Leadership Skills
Acquire leadership skills that will give you the confidence, composure, decision making, Critical thinking, problem definition/solving, advocacy, innovation , communication, teamwork, and creativity to thrive in the industry.

Outstanding trainees will have the opportunity to intern with some of the best cybersecurity professionals at Ethnos IT Solutions Limited. Intern will also have the opportunity to get an entry level role with us at Ethnos.
Programme Format
The Ethnos Cybersecurity Academy programme is offered in an online, virtual format. Each program session meets once per week with the Mentors at a fixed time. Additionally, you will be collaborating with your team online for several hours each week to work through each lesson and assignment and labs. There are no required printed textbooks for this program.
Your Commitment:
Students are expected to put in 10-hours per week, which includes the 2-hour on-line session with mentors and the balance collaborating with team members on assignments.

The Ethnos Cybersecurity Academy programme is offered in an online, virtual format. Each program session meets once per week with the Mentors at a fixed time. Additionally, you will be collaborating with your team online for several hours each week to work through each lesson and assignment and labs. There are no required printed textbooks for this program.
Programme Format
The programme will be broken down into two parts for each month of each session:
- Cybersecurity – Fundamentals
- Cybersecurity – Advanced
The course focuses on eight cybersecurity domains over the course of 2 months:
Domain 1: Governance and Risk Management
Domain 2: Asset and Privacy Protection.
Domain 3: Security Architecture.
Domain 4: Communication and Network Security.
Domain 5: Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Domain 6: Security Assessment and Testing.
Domain 7: Security Operations Centre.
Domain 8: Software Development Security.
